Steve Hardison

My first book has sold over 100,000 copies but the book would not have existed if it weren’t for Steve Hardison. I wrote about him in that book, and even more in my second book, Reinventing Yourself, because without him I would be nothing right now.
I would have never known how to reinvent myself.

He saw things in me that I didn’t see. He showed me what a liar I was about my own defects and shortcomings. He demonstrated for me that I had no personality other than the one I chose to create in any given moment.

Everything he gave me, I have attempted to give back to the world through my books and tapes and talks. I am able to write about what’s possible for people because he was able to show me what was possible for people.

I have admired a lot of people in my life, from religious figures, to Gandhi to Einstein to Agatha Christie, and no one compares in my estimation to Steve Hardison. He is the most effective and impressive person I have ever known.

People are calling me a successful writer because of how many books I have sold but I can tell you that without the deeply personal and deeply professional coaching of Steve Hardison I would have been doing the kind of job today where you have your first name stitched on the front of your shirt.

Hardison has showed me that my former pessimistic philosophy was a form of lying to myself and that the only truth worth creating was the truth of my own power and the power of love to transform the world.

I heard a lot of people who saw your first article about him say that they thought it was amazing that people paid him $1,500 per hour for coaching. Those were all people who had never experienced his coaching. What those of us who experience his coaching are amazed at is that he only charges $1,500 per hour for his coaching.

On STEVE HARDISON’S coaching:

“Come to the edge,” he said.
They said, “We are afraid.”
“Come to the edge,” he said.
They came.
He pushed them.
And they flew.
